Delaying that new car purchase!

This past month has been an emotional roller coaster for most of us. Many of our clients have decided to delay a new car purchase and keep there present vehicles.
The result for us is that we are attracting a new, very educated and tech.savvy group of people that are simply tired of high prices and poor service. Great for us!

Remember that today's cars unlike vehicles of the past, last a lot longer if maintained properly. Engines can last indefinitely if serviced at intervals and not overheated. The mentality of the past was turn it in for a new one if the mileage was over a 100,000.

We can set up a realistic maintenance schedule for you and defer items that can wait. Need advise? Give us a call....650-344-8815

Check list for success!

As a consumer in search of a new repair facility or an alternative to the franchised dealerships, your main objectives should be to make sure that you are dealing with true professionals. Here is a check list to follow:

How long in business?
level of product knowledge - look for specialists -
Type of diagnostic equipment - there is no substitute for factory test equipment
Trust & Integrity - obvious - check consumer ratings - Yelp.com - bay area check
Parts - original replacement parts only! Especially brake components
Technicians - ask what their backgrounds are and if they are certified masters?

Todays vehicle are just too complex for most general auto repair shops to handle. Years ago, a good mechanic could fix anything. Those days are gone and no longer possible without product knowledge, access to factory bulletins, proper diagnostics and a very high degree of experience.

Even if you don't choose us, I hope that this check list will help you avoid a bad experience.

Are you looking for a dealer alternative?

Dear Future Client,

I would like to thank you in advance for visiting our site and deciding to give us an opportunity to service your vehicle.

You are making the correct decision and I will prove it. Period.

We will never sell you anything that you don't need. I don't know of any dealer, chain store or quick oil changer that can make that claim. They are in the business to sell whether you actually need the parts or not.

Tough statement....True! I will give you a prime example: Air filters generally last for at least 30,000 miles (factory recommended replacement interval). Why would you need one every time that your oil is changed? End of subject!

We have won the trust and respect from our clients over the years. I am not just blowing smoke.....Excuse the pun.

I invite you to stop by and meet our staff. See for yourself why people are choosing us over the franchised dealers......Many new clients have come to us with long lists of repairs needed, and have wanted a second opinion. I can honestly say that in many cases most of the repairs were either not needed or could be deferred.

Check our unsolicited reviews on yelp.com

Thanks,

Mark

Buying Used as Opposed to New by Customer Bill Trevor

Every year more used cars are sold in the United States than new cars. The reason is obvious: money. Used cars are less expensive. For a new car, depreciation makes up half of the cost of owning a new car in the first five years. And used cars are less to insure. More money saved. Used often have warranty coverage remaining - or can be covered under new warranty programs. If you buy a used car you will get more for your money right up front, and a used car will save you a SIGNIFICANT amount of money.

With our specialized car buying programs, our 100 point inspection program done in our own shop for every car we deliver to our customer, available factory and specialized warranties and Holland's continued regular maintenance programs, you will get more value per mile - by far - than you will buying a new car.

Looking for a Lexus RX (a "Best of the Best" Consumer Reports used vehicle)? Give us a color, an option list and we'll find it, go through it with a fine tooth comb, service it, extend the factory warranty (if available) or provide a private market warranty to 5 years or 100,000 miles and keep it running for you with Holland's Signature Service.

Keep the $10,000, $20,000, $30,000 or more that you'll save in your pocket. I can tell you that you will get as much pleasure out of one of our used cars as you would out of a new car - more, actually, since you paid half of what it cost new on the dealer showroom floor.
